He'll try to lunge at you in the hall and if you moved quick enough, he'll miss and be stunned temporarily, at which point you can nail him with another ball. Stand at the very entrance of the bathroom doorway (you have to be inside for him to jump out of a stall), and the second you see him jump out, nail a ball at him and turn around and run. If you don't want to spend money on guns or wait to level up, just grab two Metal Bats (the ones that you hit balls when you attack which can be found in Royal Flush Plaza) and a bunch of food just in case. Stay to the end of the room, dodge him until he runs off into a toilet stall, wait for him to pop back out, shoot. Don't do him immediately, as in a later story mission you come across a bunch of free merc rifles which you can use to blow him away. Tiki torch + toy spit ball gun thing = flaming ball shooter thing. Does insane amounts of damage and gives good PP to boot. Two sets of boxing gloves can be found in the sports shop right by the door to the safehouse. Knife gloves (Bowie knife + boxing gloves). Pick it up on your way to the pharmacy for the first dose of zombrex :P Edit III: The best weapons in the game are: Edit again: Instead of unnecessarily stuffing your inventory with too many food items, be sure to grab the Health 1 book, which gives a +50% boost to all healing, and is found at the Yesterday Today and Tomorrow news stand in Royal Flush Plaza. You need to give the girl something to drink in order to take her back with you. Edit: once the " Wilted Flower" escort mission comes up, do it asap, as it gives you a short cut between Palisades and Royal Flush Plaza. So like the first game, Dead Rising 2 suffers from the same crap with the boss battles, in that while you can take on zombies with every other bit of stuff on the floor, you're going to need something special to take the bosses down.
